Its purpose is to compensate two drawbacks of MusiXTeX's lyrics handling: . * Typesetting lyrics with the "native" musixtex commands \zcharnote, \zsong etc. tends to be quite inefficient, particularly if the lyrics have to be changed or corrected. The idea underlying musixlyr is to separate lyrics coding from music coding and let TeX weave them together with as little manual interference as possible. As a result you can enter and edit lyrics (nearly) as easily as normal text. . * musixtex has no built-in mechanism for centering hyphens between syllables and for handling hyphenation at long melismas. This is implemented in musixlyr following the example of engraved music. . In Model 4/4P mode, there is mouse support and emulation for two models of hi-res graphics card. . xtrs requires ROM images from the original machines (except in Model 4P mode, where an included boot ROM can be used to boot a Model 4 operating system from a diskette image). The ROMs are copyrighted by Radio Shack and are not freely licensed. The package provides instructions for retrieving ROM images for those who may legally use them. Package: xwatch Priority: optional Section: contrib/utils Installed-Size: 105 Maintainer: Peter S Galbraith Architecture: i386 Version: 2.11-4 Depends: libc6 (>= 2.1), libforms0.89, xlib6g (>= 3.3.5) Suggests: sysklogd Filename: dists/potato/contrib/binary-i386/utils/xwatch_2.11-4.deb Size: 38882 MD5sum: f3a9c05bd58d572208f18344eea37d31 Description: monitor logfiles and display new logs in an X window. The displayed logs are colour-coded according to severity. Basically, you get to see what's going on _during_ say a break-in, instead of having to check the logfiles after the damage is done. Of course, you need to have the syslog daemons configured right, so that the logfiles are created. Xwatch reads options from its commandline as well as from a app-defaults resource file. XWatch requires the XForms libraries to run.
