Ok, this is where you make it all happen!
The name (or ip number) of the server that we want to connect to.
The default is "222" and should already by in showing in the text box. Other ports are possible, so if "222" does not work, you need to find out what port the Masqdialer server is running on.
Masqdialer supports authentication based on the user logon name for the server. If you specify a default name, GMasqDialer will use that name as its default.
...
If checked, when GmasqDialer opens it will connect the the server straight away.
If checked, GmasqDialer will attempt to connect to the server using the name specified in "Default user name". This means that if the server is setup to control which users may control different modems, you can control who the server thinks you are.
The Masqdialer server can set setup to disconnect the modem when the last client (like us) disconnects, thus minimizing connect time when no one is using the connection. You should ask the person who setup the server if this is so.
If compiled with Gnome panel support, GMasqDialer can be started by the session management in Gnome. Checking this box controls whether GMasqDialer's main window starts when the panel starts the applet (typically when you login).
If the server connects successfully, checking this option causes GMasqDialer to close the main window. If you have panel support the applet will remain in the panel though.
If checked, the panel applet is only one unit high to support people who like a thin panel. This option takes effect when you restart the applet.
If checked, the applet in the panel shows the total time that the current connection has been up. Does not effect the main window.
If checked the applet in the panel plots a graph input network load. That is the data coming into the modem. This requires that the server is making this information available. This option only affects the panel applet no the main window.
If checked the applet in the panel plots a graph of the output network load. That is the data being sent by the modem. Again, the server must make this information available. This option only affects the panel applet not the main window.
