Diagram of a helicopter landing on a helipad Landing requires less precision than plucking a victim from the waters, however it too needs practice. First select the waypoint (press W) to your intended destination (this is usually the last waypoint) and fly there.

As you approach the helipad (1), reduce power and descend to an altitude of 500 feet AGL (above ground level) when you are about 0.3 miles away. Lower the landing gears (press G) if they are retractable and slowly increase power but keep the rate of climb (3) above -3 feet per second. Apply gentle pitching and banking to manuver the aircraft over the center of the helipad.

Once landed, any passengers on board will be unloaded. The mission will end if the goal has been achieved.
